i was planning to get a tc, but i found lots of nice 350z roadster for 30k miles around $20k. i really want a convertible.

is it really worth of getting the used 350z or new tc?

id say Z minus the convertable. Those in converables look very odd IMO.

 

Eh, I don't like verts. But I'd pick a hardtop Z over a tC.

i like the z roadster because it has more power then tc AND it's convertible. if scion makes tc covertible, i'd freaking get one. or maybe they should bring the mr2 back

 

I'd get the z unless you'd have a problem with only havin 2 seats.

 

Reall question is can you afford the insurance on a convertable Z..........but if so please by all means........go Z..........they are really nice........my boss drives one........

um, insurance might be a little problem... it's gonna be my first car. how different is the insurance cost between z and tc?

call and get a quote,are you putting it in ur name? Im 19 and it was like 400 a month for the z for me, i got a 08 tc instead only 200 a month for full coverage..lol i love it tho!

 

If its your first car and you're an 18 year old male. Oh dear god. The tC definitely isn't much help because its considered a coupe by my insurance. But i'm not exactly sure by any means but a Z would probably be much worse. Especially if you have any tickets.

The insurance factor is something commonly overlooked. You really have to ask yourself what you're looking for in a car. If you're looking for really high hp, you'll want the Z. I looked a lot of cars before I bought my tC including a BMW Z3 and a Audi TT. I settled on the tC for how much you could mod it. This is the first car I've started to tune and I've had a lot of fun doing it. IMO, Scion is more than just trying to go fast or have crazy amounts hp; it's about style and originality. IMO, most of tuned Z's look the same. But it's still an awesome car.
