IF that were the case, that person, MUST be a beginner at the track and/or should never be at the 1320.

I ran a 14.4 with a chip on my 02 GTI which is putting me around 200 hp to the flywheel. Although at the time i was running 100 octane, which gives me about 210hp. Sooo I would say with a TC w/ SC, exhaust and intake should EASILY be in the mid 14s and lower especially with some minor weight reduction.
Huh? How does higher octane give you more hp? Unless your car is retarding timing on pump gas, and it shouldn't be taking out 10 hp worth of timing.

you only need that kinda gas if you running a high compression engine like 11.1.1, 12.1.1

unless you really advance ure timing then u will need to run higher octane gas all the time

I heard, Acura will have more higher end cars, such as SUV and crossovers.. so they need to make space...
So the rsx is being discontinued (2006 being the last year) as an Acura, and redesigned as a Honda... Since Honda is in need of young buyers too, such as toyota.. or because they lack a sports car between the s2000 and Si

The Honda Fit is coming too!!! compete against the Xa

how heavy is you gti, remember every 100 pounds is an additional .1 added to ure 1/4
i would say the scion would have to be 2,500 pounds to run 14.5 with 200hp

Or if you have boost which I beieve he does. Then there would be a dynamic compression ratio even higher that 12:1.

reason why i do not agree here.

got my tib brand new v6 5spd 16,200. 630$ mods. i can outpace stock gt's on the highway. quarter mile? prolly not due to their rwd launch.

mustang gt's price is what 22,000+?

friends tib in panama city. 17,300 v6 6speed. 4k on 11psi turbo w/ intercooler, full fuel uggrade, wideband kit and hes running around 350whp.

lets just say he spent 22k as well. now your facing 250hp*stang* vs 350hp *tib* for the tib costing less.

Now, your TC. doesnt have a v6, but has a larger i4. Given as much power and torque it has, + its quick gear ratio, it shouldnt take that much to be beating stangs either.

t/a. as much power as they boast, they have the same minor setback the mustangs do. their drawn out gear ratio's.

True, the mustang and t/am can easily be modified to hold a ton more power. Due to their larger capacity engines, but looking at it from this stand point. Costs while buying the car new.

honestly couldnt tell u how long it will last in the US. in korea tibs have been running 380whp for years. yes on the v6. my friends got his for about 3 months now.

his best run was a 13.4 with stock tires when he mis shifted 5th gear. hes estimated to run 12's when he does it right for once. : )

his biggest challenge is getting good traction via fwd. In the track video's all the mustangs take a slight early lead, but he soon passes them llike nada.

LS1's are sweet. Our shop camaro went 11.18 @ 125 on spray and DOT legal slicks.....but back to the topic ;)

Our tC went 17.3 @ 80.6 mph with a 2.43 60ft time. This was totally stock, not changing tire pressure or anything at 5200 ft altitude. Corrected for sea level, that makes for a 16.1 @ 86.1 mph. I'm not a good driver, so someone could probably knock a couple tenths off my times pretty easily....

After punching the numbers in to cartest software, which gave the same results as C&D got for the tC, it tells me that an sc'd tC w/200bhp is good for a 14.6@95 with a 6.4 0-60. All and all not too bad, considering there's a 2-3 before 60. I just hope I find some money so I can get it and at least keep up with my aunts g35 sedan 6sp.
