Btw, milage sucks at 127...1/4 tank of gas lasted me umm....40 miles or so...then I ran out...and had to have friends bring me some

Don't speed....you end up out of gas at 2am in nowhere ND.

The Vehicle speed and rpm signals are pulse width variable square waves.. at least they are to the ECU, which is actually fed via the gauge cluster. So a simple voltage clamp will not work in that application. Now, if they have it worked out to provide the proper duty cycle then that would work. I am not sure yet how the signal gets to the gauge cluster, but I am assuming the same, or they would not have converted it. So basically, the gauge cluster in the tC provides the signals to the ECU. I have been studying this from the tC manuals for another project I am working on.

i got my first ticket ever doing 70mph in a 55 zone. no trying to max this car out for me.

Oh, and the project mentioned has nothing to do with the speed limiter.. I am using the control signals for other purposes, which is why I knew the above.
