have anyone been able to shut this 130 mph top speed off? I can't take it any more when srt 4 and subarus wrx pass me at 130. I need more speed!

Please help! Any chip or something?

Although the tC is software limited, the drag limitation really isn't that far up.

Didn't this same guy post something like this a couple weeks ago and everyone flamed him? All I remember was that last guy was from Puerto Rico too. I'm glad he doesn't live here, jackarses like this guy need to just drive their car off a bridge.

you would have to be literally flying (all wheels off the ground, with alternate power (ie jet powered )) to be able to go beyond the gearing limit.

 

Buy a SRT 4 or a WRX... problem solved.

 

yeah, even if you cut the governor to go over 127 mph, you'll redline in 5th gear at 135 mph approximately.

you'd have to put in a taller final drive gear, or a tranny with 6 speeds.

Throw some 19s on with tires that barely fit and you'll hit 140 realtime mph, forget about the Speedo when your wheels are that big.

Some places around my house are just WIDE OPEN stretches and are beggining for 130 mph. I'm guilty of doing 130 ish many many times, and if lands me in a body bag, so be it, atleast i will die happy,lol. And just know that i'm not stupid enough to endanger others, i never go above (well, much above ) the speed limit with others in the car or on the roads around me. Adrenaline FTW.

We all have our bad habits (for lack of better term) If you all are sooo ____ed about street racers putting themselves in danger and others around, then why don't you all go look for smokers and scream and yell until you're blue in the face that they are stupid and dangerous. And if you think it's because they only hurt themselves...you're wrong, i've had 2 family members die from second hand smoke-lung cancer.... and 1 from actually smoking.

Smoking kills 4.8 million people a year (not including the deaths from second hand)
Street racing kills AVG. 5,749 people a year (most recent numbers i could find)
Over 830 times more deaths from smoking than street racing

Not that anyone said anything about smoking but it just something to think about.

And let me make it clear now, i have done my fair share of "dangerous" driving but i in no way condone it. I just think your efforts could be better directed.
