How low has it gotten for people?

I just filled up yesterday and put 13.5 gallons in.

 

If anyone has noticed....at the bottom of the fuel gauge is the letter "R" not "E", therefore, "R" stands for Reserve. There is still almost 1.5 gals left when the needle reaches "R"

I filled my tank up yesterday with the needle below the "R", and it only took 13.32 gals.

I took pix of the gauge and receipt, but can't get the size of the pix small enough to upload...
