1st attempt at HDR
Very nice!
Here's a tip / what I learnt:
This is what I kinda found out at least for the project I did for my car and my friend's. HDR isn't always look nice for the cars. I get a lot of unwanted reflection and exposure on the car when I dont want it. This might only apply to dark colored cars. I noticed that some white colored HDR stuff actually look really really nice.
You might want to do a combined thing where you mixed HDR and DRI so it looks cool.

while i'd tend to agree i think the glare is what you're looking for in most cases, but its more about the lighting, if you have bad lighting at all it really shows up in HDR. THIS is a phenominal shot

and this is a horribly done one

not a car but you get the point.

This is a photo done by one of my favorite photographers, Dave Hill. He's incredible at his style of shooting. I havent been able to figure out everything he does, especially the post-production process he uses, but I have figured out a bit of his technique during the shoot.
He often (not always) lights each of his subjects individually. Also, in other photographs you can see incredible clarity. I believe hes using a Hasselblad H2 camera which has 39 megapixels, but if you look at his other work you will notice how sharp it is all the way through.
