2005 tC starting problem
#21
after much trial and error, i think the problem is a bad ignition switch. Its the only thing that I can track down that wouldn't create a CEL, be erratic, once running not create CEL. Stealership is supposed to be picking it up in the morning.

Stealership finally got the car done. 13 days. Before performing diagnostics, they removed starter interrupt they installed (to protect their investment), No errors on diagnostics. Replaced ECU, reconnected starter interrupt, issue returned. Replaced Key and immobilier unit, problem persisted. removed starter interrupt, problem gone. So they left starter interrupt off and instead installed GPS locator. Stealership footed the bill for ECU, immobilizer unit, New key, programming key to car.
