2010 tC subwoofer
New user here, just joined, and I'm looking forward to knowing a lot of the community here.
Now for my question...I recently bought a 2010 tC and it has a factory subwoofer in it. I haven't noticed it until a couple days ago that the sub doesn't really kick in until a couple seconds after I step on the gas. It's noticeably quieter or weaker when I'm stopped or parked, or just coasting by letting off the brake. Is there a problem with the wiring? Is it a factory set up, because it came with the pioneer system which I'm not sure was optional when it was bought new?

Sounds like you have the ASL feature on. Automatic Sound Leveling will alter the EQ levels based on the car's speed. So when your stopped, the radio seems lower, and when the car is driving on the highway the radio adjusts higher so you can hear it over the sound of the tires.
