Default 2nd Thoughts

I wonder how many of you guys have had 2nd thoughts about getting the tC? Im nearing the purchase date and i keep lingering about getting another car. I mean no matter what car i get there will alwayz be faster and better car. Everytime i see the RSX-S it melts my heart away but for the price, it's rediculous. 24,000 for a supposly luxury car(if anything the rsx-S isnt anywhere near luxury except for the seats maybe). with the amount of money i have, i'll get the tC. I'll drive it, and learn to like it. So anyone else had 2nd thoughts before they purchased the tC or maybe after purchasing it?

Ive had my tC for a year and have never felt like I made a bad call. Right before I ordered my car I had a chance to get a BMW Z3 and passed it up and I have never regretted making that decision. I'll see Z3s and realize I could have gotten one but I smile everytime I know Im driving a tC.

Where you do you pick up the luxury status of a rsx-s? Its not even sold with the impression of it. If you want to build a car, and have a solid performing car then buy the rsx-s. K20a is near a perfect fwd build up motor. So much potiental with so much out there for it.

If you want a nice, sporty looking car but more along the lines of comfortable, buy the tC. Thats my 02 cents.

The reason why i said luxury is because remember ACURA is the luxury side of honda. So it only made sense to say the RSX-S is luxury but in reality it isn't.

Yes, Acura is the more upscale version of the Honda traditionally, but honda has started upgrading a lot of features interior wise to make their cars more comfortable. Also, the rsx-s isn't sold like a luxury compact, its sold like a sport compact. Its a performance car no matter how you look at it and thats how Acura sells it.

As for acura = domestic market. Thats not entirely true, its more domestic-built than honda and it is an exclusive brand. (not sold in japan) But, a lot of the parts also do come from japan. Its not really a domestic car, so i wouldn't consider it domestic market. Especially since it still carries a honda motor. I can see why you would consider it that, which it does make sense. But its still an import.

dude who cares now. every car manufacturer makes their cars/trucks from someplace/foreign/here/wherever they always have different sub brands to compete with others.

This guy had a second thoughts

Not to be ****, but i just notice on alot of your post you come out on the defense on whatever the person says.

theres only 3 post relating to 2nd thoughts, lets not add a page of arguments on why the car is supposedly luxurious.

How do i sound defensive? All i'm doing is responding to those who respond to my post.

After I test drove the tC, I knew it was the car for me. So far, I have never had 2nd thoughts about my purchase. I knew since the tC was inexpensive, not to expect too much. (In a luxury-sense type of way.) Sure-it has its share of minor problems, but nothing I can't handle.

I love my tC and have never had any second thoughts. However, after I bought my tC, I bought an old RX-7 to tinker around with if for some reason I want to break away from the tC for a weekend or something. The tC is a great car and you will be happy with it.

Don't get the tC if you think you may not like it. You'll regret it and come on here _____ing about it.

I decided to get the tC because (at the time) a.) No one had it and b.) It had a lot of standard features and styling for the money and c.)I wanted to be different. Even now the tC is not as common as say the new Mustang or even the RSX. I'd estimate that I see 10 RSXs for every 1 tC.

It's not that i don't like the car, i really like. I like the interior compared to the RSX. Yet the RSX's styling is more agresive than the tC. Also there's nothing to regert once the deal is done. : )
