Default 500hp tC Busts Dyno Straps

Pro Tip: If you strap you car to a dyno by the wastegate, you're going to have a bad time.

On the plus side, you get to brag about your car busting free of the dyno. This guy's tC is crazy powerful though. He's making over 500 hp at the wheels. Personally, I think that's way past the barrier of driveability and into the arena of bragging rights. He does have nice tires on the front, so he probably drags it anyway.

Wow, that is incredible. Do you have the link to the setup? Would be interested to see the specs because I want one!

Breaking straps at 285hp just means there was faulty strapping placement. The Wastegate was burning a way through the strap, so it snapped due to heat rather than power. And that manifold looks like the Dezod Alpha manifold.

And HP has nothing to do with the Daily driver ability of it. It's the setup that has everything to do with whether or not it's good to drive on the street on a regular basis.
