I dont think we will see tC engine swaps until the tC is old and can be bought used for around $2000. The only reason we see so many Honda swaps, is because someone can go buy a 1992 hatchback for $1500, and drop a $4000 built engine in it and be fast. Thats $6500.
To do that to a tC, you need to buy a $17,000 car and drop a $4000 engine in it, and you are in unchartered territory, so install will be trial and error. So now you have a $21,000 car that still needs a turbo for another $3,000, just to be as fast as that civic.

i am in the oceanside area and have not seen any tc souped up out here like that, not even a body kit at that. thier is not to many motorsport shops, you've got to go to sd for that.

Its also one of the only motors i can see worth dropping into the tC anyway. I mean that bay is cramped as hell....

Although it would be one hell of a fab to got the 1.3 mounted transversly.

It can easily be done if some big name company wants to gain recognition from tC owners by doing some crazy sh*t. Highly unlikely though because companies are not making too much revenue producing tC parts simply because no one buys them. That's why our aftermarket support have pretty much slowed down to a screeching halt.
