You can check out spalshield.com , lamin-x.com , rockblocker.com , and many others I'm sure. Basically they'll use 3M or similar-brand 8mil urethane film. You can order online and install DIY bec some do come w/ instructions/tools. Or, you can hit up your local auto tint shops and car-clubs---they might be able to recommend a local shop that can sell/professionally install it on your car.

The only thing you should know is that the next year's model will be redesign. I would rather wait for the redesign.

Not really an option since I just sold my car to get a tC!

As far as we know, Toyota may have reformulated the paint or added something to it to make it better than before.
I have an 09 and the paint scratches very easily for what thats worth. Supposedly its a new color (Sizzling Crimson Mica as opposed to Black Cherry Pearl)

And yeah, get a clear bra. I got on on my tC but unfortunately for me, I later got a rock chip in the hood about an inch further up the hood than where the bra ends.

I'm going to be in the same boat as Jeff1079. My tC is going to my lil sis so I'll be in need of a car for school and work. I want to see redesign but will prob. end up with an 09 tC. Kinda sucks...too bad it isn't this year.

----correct me if im wrong (with evidence)-----
You are correct about that, I got mine financed but that was before the dealers were told they couldn't finance it with the car. However you can get a SEPARATE loan for ONLY the supercharger. ( On my loan its a $4,000 accessory ) and that was the week it was released and that included the install ( $3200 part + $800 install )

Paint doesn't neccisarily suck, its the thin clear coat. I have an 07 tC that i bought in Octoboer 06 and after almost 50k miles and 2 michigan winters its pretty shabby. Needs waxing more often than it should. My trunk lid has a bunch of little spots where the clearcoat is down to the paint. And my fron't fascia looks jet black instead of black sand pearl.
