Default Adjustment or Removal for TC?

ok i used that useless search button and got everything but what i wanted to find.

today i pulled up to the line with a white HonDuh with exhaust and sounded like intake. green light and we both gun it. i blew him off the line and was up by 3-4 car lengths. then i hit my rev limiter and totally forgot about it. changed gears and kept going. but my main concern was the limiter and how little it lets you run into redline.
i still beat him by 3-4 car lengths but it could have been more.

is there a way to remove or alter the limiter? void warranty?...if it voids warranty i still dont care.

i have a G-tech pro thing that plugs in to the car and when your setting up your car settings you can ajust the redline and stuff. i think that might take away the rev limiter. but i havn't tried so who knows

Learn how to shift. The tC is geared low and has a relatively torquey, low redline engine, which gives it good acceleration but means you have to shift sooner and more often. Revving your car to 7000 RPM will not make you faster, but will damage your engine. Get a shift light and set it for 6000 RPM.

why does everyone want to remove the redline limiter? isint the redline area where ur engine is workin so hard it could destroy itself? how bout people be happy with where the car revs to. its geared short, and is not a high revving car. you would need to beef up the internals b4 you can rev past the redline safely. lets be smart people. the limiter is there to stop you from destroying your engine. RED MEANS STOP

Redline is past the peak HP/Torque curve so don't waste time, get into the next gear powerband.
