ALL NEW 2011 Scion tC coming Sept. 2010
Even the 2.5l would be nice. If all these promises are kept and the new tC is actually going to be close to 200bhp, I may consider trading my current one in however, I may be better off just boosting. Time will tell I suppose!
Well, this are the rumors so far
From Wiki
The replacement model will carry a 2.5 litre I4 engine producing 180hp. Visually, the next generation is a toned-down variant of the Scion Fuse concept, featuring a similar rear quarter-panel window line and xB-style blacked-out A-pillars. However, taillights, headlights, and nose treatment are less radical. The 2011 tC will continue to have an all-glass roof, roomy interior, hatchback design, and orange-colored dash.
and according to several people that attended the marketing research focus groups that was held in February of 2010 the "teaser pics" are not from the New tC and the new tC looks VERY similar to the Fuse Concept

Interesting. I've recently been looking into the Civic Si. For some reason, my insurance for the tC is $120 a month while my Z06 insurance is $70 a month, both cars are fully insured with $200 deductibles.
I really wish my tC has 6 speeds and some more power. I do not like going 3k+ RPM while cruising on the expressway.
One thing I'm interested in also is to see how much it would cost to insure. My tC is paid off...

you can always get a stroker kit that will bring your 2.4L to 2.6L.
I think it's a conspiracy to keep cars in the sub 30mpg range on the highway
What will the manual shifter look like on the tC? I think that auto shifter looks gayer than aids!
yup, the xD uses the same *****, and its a 5x100 lug pattern, personally I would prefer the NGtC to be 5x100... Otherwise it looks like I will be selling off my 2 extra sets of wheels...
Those are the common climate controls on several Toyota models. And that cruise control controller has been on every Toyota since the early 90's
Wow. You're an idiot. The majority of people infected with HIV/AIDS are heterosexual.

I'm kinda glad it's keeping the moonroof. I mean, for anyone that's wanting to track it, having an all glass roof might not be ideal, but it was one of the things that drew me to the tC back in 2005.

That shifter console is screaming 'econobox.'
Oh, and it will be mandatory for some form of electronic stability control to be implemented in all vehicles by 2012.
