Yea you are not going to get what is pictured on the concept FT-86 for 20k, it will defiantly be closer to 30k. Also it will probably be toned down so much, which sucks.

lol at vvti kicking in.

also the 2.5 has 170 hp or 179 hp in the camry se and i believe a 5 speed transmission.

now if they smartened up and offered the damn car with the 3.5 v6 with the 6 speed manual even if it wasnt a scion and was 5gs more then i would buy anohter tC but until then im gonna start saving for an is250

Well, obviously no one is completely sure as to what is being realeased. I heard its going to be a 2.0L Boxer engine. And that it will be rear wheel drive. But I honestly don't know what to think. I just hope they produce something that can bring a name back to Scion. I am tired of SI owners and Subaru owners talking over me and completely kicking my butt to the side, although I only have an intake. Either way they have done a fairly good job at keeping it hidden so kudos to them for that. I am anticipating it...

Tuscani was the KDM version of the tibby here in korea.

These are some crazy ideas. I think we all want that...but realistically scion is marketed toward a lower funded crowd and those cars would be more than what most scion owners are willing to spend.

Our local Scion manager got back from SEMA and meeting with the Scion people. He said they showed them pics of the back end and front end of the new tC. He side the back looked wider and the front had a more aggressive look. Without out a doubt it will have the 2.5l engine.

They taked about the Toyo/Subaru and that will be coming too. He said Toyota, Scion, and Lexus are fighting who will get it but it looks like not Scion cuz they said the car will be geared more to +25year olds and Scion wants to keep Scions 25 and younger target and the Toyo/Subaru would be too much money.

The iQ is coming and they are in talks of doing a truck but someting more like an El Camino. I would think it would look like one of the Subaru car/trucks since I guess Toyota bought part of Subaru from what he said.

This is all right fom our Scion manager who just got back from SEMA and got to meet with the Scion heads.

Thanks for the info. Sounds pretty legitament because I don't think that a rear wheel drive scion would be in the price range of scion owners. Either way, I hope it doesn't go to lexus.
