am i the only one with this problem?
hey folks, i was parking my tC today on a pretty steep hill and i noticed that i had to pull the Ebrake pretty hard to keep it from rolling i also left it in gear just in case. this also happens on low inclines too. whats the deal? why is it soo weak?? let me know.
have you been tryin to pull ebrake turns? if so you a. might have pulled the tention on the wire and b. you may have worn down the locking part of the ebrake. I would go to the dealer and have them fix it.
the ebrake catches up really high, almost to the point were you think it won't go any higher. i'll use it on a steep hill if i don't want the car to roll back when i take off in 1st, a couple of times, i started rolling back because the ebrake catches really high
thanks fer the info guys, no i havent been pulling e-brake turns. and yes its more of a really high engagement. i guess i'll take it back to those bastards who call themselves "toyota of orange" ...damn you if you're singing that damn song right now
thanks again.

so you're saying instead of using the break (which is what its made for) you're suppose to let the weight of the car rest on the transmission? i dont really think thats the best idea.... i alwayz use ebreak, and only put the car in gear (first or reverse) if im on an incline
