Default amp help

ok so i installed a sound system in my friend's car (amp, subs) and i wired a converter to the rear speakers. now for some reason, then amp won't go off.

hmm id say check the remote wire, the wire that runs from the back for the HU to the amp. you could have it hooked up the wrong way..basically the remote wire hooks up to a wire that has power when the car is on, and no power when the car is off..and that little bit of electricity tells the amp when it needs to be on and when it needs to be off, accidentally hook it up to a wire that always has current running through it, your amp will never shut off..lol hope this helps

blue/white is the wire your looking for. when i did put mine in i think i had connected it to the blue cause i was just wanted to hear asap and the amp wouldn't shut off but with the blue/white i would turn my HU off and the amp would still be on but that was while the key was in until taken out it would shut off.
