Default Another tale of woe

I installed my TRC lowering springs a couple weeks back and finally went to get the alignment done and first oil change. From previous threads I had also had a receiver hitch put on for my bike rack. When doing the spring install I noticed the hitch garage had burned a hole in my car /melted interior and asked the dealer for a repair estimate against the other company's garage insurance... well...

The garage also damaged the frame rail $$$ which makes the car unsafe in collision. I'm waiting to see how much the exact estimate is for, but around $2400.

But on top of that the dealer pulled a huge chunk out of my front air dam removing the car from the alignment machine!!! They dealer fessed up, and promised a new bumpter in 2 days. But i'm sure I just lost my resale value since it will look like the car rear ended someone and was again hit from behind due to they type of repairs made.

I'll name the guilty after I'm sure it won't affect legal status, and pictures as best I can when i get home. I'm not that p/o'ed at the dealer other than they promised to install the rack for me when I bought the car then negged on doing it. I'm just bummed at that. I'm really ____ed at the garage though.

That sux. I had a real ugly time with U-Haul and their lame attempts at installing a hitch on my Gr. Caravan. Took 3 tries before i had to drive 90 minutes each way WHILE ON VACATION to get it fixed right... Some people's children...

wow. someone might be feeling my pain if they did that to my car. as for the resale value and the question of a collision that never happened, just be sure to keep the records of the repairs and the reasons for the repairs. if you can explain what happened and you have bills and receipts to prove it, no one should question your story.

Seriously. I'm a nice person, but don't mess with me, and definitely don't mess with my car!!! Someone would be feeling my wrath right now.
