antenna and car washes

Can I run my tc through the car wash? Does the antenna screw off?

Lost my antenna in a car wash. Just screwed right off, didn't notice until a couple hours later..

We ran our Escape through its first automatic car wash a few weeks ago and when the high-pressure dryer came over, it seriously flexed the antenna all the way towards the hood (the antenna's in front). We were watching it, like, "OH ****!!" It came back and whipped back like lightning but luckily did not hit the windshield or anything else.

It was a stupid move on our part, but I don't believe the antenna will even come out.

So I don't recommend auto-car wash, but that's what you asked about. It's known the tC antenna is removable.

Automatic car washes are the Devil!
