The airbag ____ i believe is behind the bumper, on the chassy.

Cause if it connected to the actual plastic bumper, your airbags would go off even if you just get into a fender bender.

I just did this on my tC. Just remember once the bolts are removed, you have to disconnect the bumper from the plastic clips (the bolts screw into the clips). Use a screwdriver to move the clips over . Also remember to unbolt at the fender well and remove the bolt that is kind-of hidden inside the bumper on the passenger and driver's side. Honestly it's very easy. Just remember to keep up with which bolts go where.

The airbag sensors ARE NOT on the bumper. The only thing I had to disconnect from the bumper were the fog lights. You will see one sensor on the chassis ground wall's ajoining wall near the front (The same wall I think, if you have moved the ground during the Injen CAI install -which I guess makes bumper removal tips a moot point since you've already done it )

Hope that helps some. Check the reviews of the Injen CAI on this site, I think that someone tells you exactly how many bolts and clips there.

basicly 2 bolts in each wheel well and under the car i think there are like 10 and then 5 clips under the hood and it pops right off

i have taken it off a crap load of times for my grill and my intake and other intakes i have made and installed so dont worry no airbags will go off

dude just email me (aarontrini85@yahoo.com) tonight ill send them to you but basicly i gave you all the instructions above lol

but a flat head screw driver, a philips screw driver, a 1/2 inch rachet will work with 10mm deep well socket or a 10mm with a extension

this is easier then taking off the center console or hell a rim lol and i guess if you havent done either of thoughs you might not get the joke but its easy as hell trust me
