any other way to open the trunk

Default any other way to open the trunk

if the car is on and i need to open the trunk, and all doors ar in lock position, is there any button or any other way to unlock the trunk, or do i have to take the key out of the ignition and do it.......

afaik, the trunk only opens when all doors are unlocked

if you're asking because there's no lever besides the gas door like in other cars, no you cannot open it any other way unless you unlock the doors. The tC's mechanism is pretty much the same as the BMWs, where it's an electronic opening system (just push the handle above the plate when doors are unlocked and it electronically opens rather than mechanically.) this is, of course, if you're saying that your situation has you INSIDE the car (which then you STILL wouldn't need to take your ignition keys out anyway).

The owner's manual gives instructions on getting the trunk open if the switch or solenoid fails. You have to crawl inside the trunk and remove some panels and you can get to the mechanism to manually open it.
