Default any people with weather stripping problems?

back in august I had the passenger rear window replaced because the door stripping was cracking and coming off. a week after the bottom strip on on the window of the liftgate was slowly peeling off, toyota also replaced that. now the stripping is peeling off again (I'm assuming with the weird GA weather) but I want to know if anyone other people have had similar problems because I would highly recommend calling scion, if 3 or more people have these issues, they'll launch an investigation and help better fix the problem.

if you haven't, go to a dealer, they should replace it under warranty, and call scion!

Last month the weather stripping was coming off of the windshield. It was making a craCy noise inside the car while i was driving. Thats actually how i noticed it was coming off. I got it taken care of though, from the dealership.

Yeah, the one on my hatch started coming off about a month ago.. Talked to one of the guys at Toyota and they said it'll be replaced for free under warranty. But they have to call a "window guy" to do it, so it'll take a couple of hours. WTF... I still need to go in for it. I just might tomorrow.. Yeah, I think I will.

^^ same with me dude. they brought an outside guy to do my windshield. I just remembered, the dealership was the one that messed up my weather stripping. They washed my car, and when i was driving home, it was making a loud a$$ noise. One of the dudes that work there said that they use an Air-Dry system to dry the car, and that's what probably took off the weather stripping.

I went to my dealer's auto body shop, takes about 2 hours to do it all, they have to take out the hatch glass and restrip it all, then it has to dry.

Hmm..That sounds about right. It did happen after an oil change when they "washed" my car afterward..
