Anyone here ever leave their tC/2AZFE idling for hours?
Just wondering if anyone here ever leaves their tC, or has ever left a Camry or anything with a 2AZFE motor in it idling for long periods of time (2-8 hours at a time), and if anything bad ever happened to it over the long run. Like worn engine parts, clogged up catylytic converter, etc?
Reason I'm asking is 'cause I'm wondering about what would happened if I ever fell asleep in my running tC in the summertime with the A/C on -- whether it would damage anything (besides me if I were stupid enough not to take precautions against carbon monoxide poisoning).

the cat won't clog in 8 hrs. from your previous posts i know katrina hit you hard. you should be okay if you have to idle for a long period of time. it's obviously not the best scenario.
dude, is there no where you can stay except the car?

Oh, no it's not about disaster scenereos... I'm actually at the point right now where I wouldn't mind very much if we go underwater again 'cause I'm really sick of work and would love the vacation. The reason is because sometimes I go for long road trips and would rather just pull over and snooze for a while when I'm tired rather than go to a nasty hotel.

I guess you can't warm up your car on a 10 degree winter day...
We had some really f-ing cold days in december and it would take 20 minutes to get the gauge to hit the first bottom line of the temp gauge!!!

The biggest problem I see is that you won't have air moving over your radiator. Of course, you have a motor on the radiator fan to protect you while you are idling, so that's probably OK. Do you see anything in the manual on it?
I should also point out that nearly everyone that has posted to this thread has a white tC. SWFTW!
