I would like to buy the doors sills aftermarket and not give the dealership extra $$ but, i am not sure how the install. Has anyone done their own...is it easy???? Please share your thoughts or pics....thanks

 

It takes all of a minute and a half....factory ones pop out, a coupld of little prongs on the sides and middle, then the new ones have the same prongs and a little bit of adhsive, align the prongs and push down, securing the tabs
very easy and they look great

I tried looking for this earlier in the tech part of the forum with all the other how to's. Am I just overlooking the title? Granted its a very simple mod but a How to like the link shown above deserves to be in there.

No, the search isn't advanced, it just simply blows. How do you simply search the title without the body? Ever heard if "Human factors"?

Anyhow, the door sills are very easy to install. It's the matter of ripping out the old one, peeling the double sided tape that's pre-installed and popping the new one into place.
