Default Anyone noticed this?

I just noticed, the sides of my rims look scraped up... and it doesn't look like road debris that has caused the damage, but it looks like my tire has been scraping up against my rims. Anyone had this happen before? Also, the driving on the road feels really bumpy, even on a brand new road, it feels bumpy. I just had my tires rotated and balanced out, so I'm guessing this is normal, just have never felt it before.

Somebody explain if this would happen to be normal or if anyone has had this happen before?

The bumpy ride thing sounds like suspension issues. Did you cut your springs or anything?

My car is really bumpy, too. It's only 3 months old and since day1 I could feel this bouncy feeling alot.

Hmm, than it could be a faulty strut.

Dealership? If it's still brand new-ish, than it's a factory problem,

I used to drive camry which is really comfortable, so I realized the bumpy feeling of tC right after I bought it. But few people mentioned that it's because of 17" rims and thinner tires than camry's(15"). So I thought that was normal for this car, but other tC owners say tC is really comfortable, not too bumpy. But I can even feel this bouncing feeling on new road like willingwelli said. So I'm confused, does my car have a problem with suspension? there's no sound or anything from struts.

Do you think I should get it checked out?

It's very true that the 17's and low profile tires will make a much rougher ride, but if you guys are on brand new flat road and the ride is bad then you should get it checked out. I have lowering springs and on a flat new road my car is suprisingly smooth...most of the time.

You should definately get it checked out. With 17's and low pro's you should feel the little bumps and cracks on the road, but on a fresh road it should be smooth. Sounds like you have a strut problem to me. It also shouldn't really be bouncy. My 07 rides real smooth and i only have 3k on it. Definately take it to the dealer, or a shop at least, and get it checked.

Maybe you've dented your rims?

Your rims sound like curb rash. You most likely got too close to a curb while parking and scraped them up. Something you have to watch for more closely on lo pro tires

By bumpy, is it a vibration? Like a flat spot on the tire? Is it at certain speeds? Is there a noise associated with it? Is it constant or intermittent?

It seems to be itermittment, sometimes it's htere, sometimes, it's not. I'm not sure if I should take it to the dealer, I have 6,400 miles on it, so yeah it's fairly new, but i just had my tires rotated and balanced and it said i had 2 flat spots in my tires which i
m assuming they fixed...
