well, I guess you can assume road racing would be autocross-related, as both are course-based. I think thats the idea. straight line vs course driving.

Alabama's kind of in between a rock and a hard place when it comes to this... especially for those of us that can't really go out of state that often (like to Road Atlanta for amateur track days)... because either there just isn't that much (if any) AutoX going on in this state (very, VERY few events held) or you feel a little out of place at the drag strips because even though there is a good number of tuner/euro cars running all over the state, at each track it's at least 1:10 with older guys and their muscle cars being the majority. Not that I care that much, but that's sort of how it is.

I do not think the skill level is higher when autocrossing then when dragging. I think the skills required are DIFFERENT, but that does not represent a higher level of difficulty. With drag-racing, there is far less room for error, where as autocrossing one mistake/mis-shift, et cetera, an opportunity to regain the lead is not uncommon. With that said, autocrossing is mucho fun, and drag-racing is as well. They offer two very distinct qualities to automotive sport, and I would pick C because they are both awesome! I would tip my hat to autocrossing though because it is funner to me.
