Does anybody have a picture or a diagram of the flip down screen/cover of the tC. I want to see if i can invent something the would trigger it to open with a push of a buttom. I know its internal but just dont have a clue on how it locks in place. If anyone in here disassembles the front console and the faceplate. Please post a pic on how it locks here.

Dude, just pull it out The lower part around the shifter first, then the top part - just gently pull and it will come out - no screws.

didnt know, too scared to mess with it..... , ill play around with it and take pics... maybe we can solve this problem once and for all
