AutoWeek wants to hear from us!
We get AutoWeek Magazine at the shop I work at & when flipping through it, I saw that they are looking for tC drivers to give them a long-term update.
"Send comments for use in future updates to autofile@crain.com"
I just broke 1000 miles on my tC on Wednesday & have had it less than a month, so I don't think I've had it long enough to give them the "long-term" update they're looking for. But if you've racked up the miles on your tC or have had it for a while, take a minute to send them your opinion. Maybe you'll be published in their magazine!

"hey my name is Doug .. I'm from manchester NH .. I have a 2005 Black Cherry Pearl Scion tC .. bought it on October 5, 2004 and I have 15,500 miles on my car ... over all I love the car .. has good power and decent gas mileage ... (I'd say im gettin 25mpg average)I did a few mods that made my experience a little better .. I replaced the stock Bridgestone Potenza RE92s with Pirelli PZero Nero M+S tires which improved handling noticeably. I had the TRD Stainless Steel muffler and a TRD air filter installed which helps in acceleration a little and makes the car sound nicer. I also got the Scion offered pedestal spoiler which looks really nice. I also got the front ground FX lip. My thoughts on the car are mostly positive. There are a few little problems tho, a little bit of interior rattling, mild hatch noise, and the clutch (I have a standard) seems to be wearing out a bit ... maybe cuz I like to drive the thing and I've never really been that great with stick .. oh well. Overall, I love the car. You can see that it was made well, the interior is awesome, the seats are comfortable. I have had 5 people in the car on more then one occasion. The center rear seat is the only one that isnt so comfortable. The trunk space is small but I dont mind. I have a huge subwoofer box back there anyways. This car has a good power band, flooring it when yer at 3k rpms in 2nd gear up to 4500 rpms does push you back in yer seat. Accelerating on the highway is good too because the car is already at 3200rpms at 70mph. I get alot of comments on my car when I'm parked because tCs are still rare where I live. People also love the color. I could not see owning another new car because no other new car has what I want. I love the tC because its still rare, original and looks more expensive then it costs. Also, you can't complain about Toyota quality. I plan on keeping this car for atleast 5 years. I also want to do more power mods because there is so much potential in the car. I love my car and I am so glad I bought it.

Sent mine already so I cant copy it here. But I gave it a great review. No paint issues with mine, other than a few well deserved knicks (from a shower of large gravel which also took out a foglight!) I basically gave it all good reviews, with a mention of a little more body roll than expected, but overall good handling. Four 650 mile road trips so far (straight through each time) and am very impressed.
