Default Awesome Tc Story

So I had been looking at Tc's for awhile, but never actually got serious until last week. So Thursday of last week I stopped by Frontier Scion in Valencia, I asked them how much I could get for my trade, which is a 1997 VW Jetta GLX VR6. They said 2k! I said no way, and they also said I couldn't order a Tc until Saturday, and then it would take a week or two to get in. So, I called Sierra Scion in Lancaster, about 30 min. away, and the guy there said they had a flint mica 5sp, so Friday I went to see it, but it had a bunch of options I didn't want, but I still wanted to get it, so I said, ok. And, they said that they would give me 3.5k for my trade. So, I went back to work, planning on doing the paperwork that evening, but someone bought it before I could. So, the guy I worked with, Al, found a 5 speed in the port on Sunday, and switched it with one of their auto's and it'll be here tomorrow or wednesday. I just did the paperwork and financing today! That is great service man. And, it was stock, so I got only the options I wanted! Props to Sierra Scion! I just wanted to relay that awesome Tc story. I will be a happy man driving my SSM Tc tomorrow! Peace out.

We'll see, the guy I dealt with was pretty straight up, and it was a cash deal, so they better move on it, I have confidence I'll get it tomorrow or Wednesday, just watch guys.

Good luck. When I was looking about for mine, place I first went to told me 2 weeks max. Turned out to be closer to 3 months. It is luck of the draw though on when you end up getting with yours but be prepared to see excuses when they start acomin.

don't you guys just hate run-arounds. that goes with everything - repair shops or dealerships. i've always had bad experiences with repair shops. i once had a repair shop tell me every week for 3 months "your truck will be ready next week". too many jerk offs. i just want to know the truth

dude the only way to get a tC...i tink is keep callin dealerships...i found my car w/ srs and fogs i didn't want but i got it neways...cuz it wook me two days to find it...after my 25th dealership call....my fren whos also on this side found his in 2 weeks (he's more picky about wat he wants on his car)....mines IIP his is Flint Mica...just call all over the place an pick it up when they have it...i itnk it's tha best way...dealers will hustle you in w/ that port ____...but they have no control...the cars get allocated randomly...the only person who known nething is the fleet manager...just call and ask for the fleet manager. that person will let you kno wat they have and wat they're getting w/....(inside tip from my fren in the car business)

oh and u gotta pick it up that that day...these babies sell like hotcakes...

Ok, you guys, it is true, I waited exactly 5 days from talking to the dealer to picking up my brand new SSM Scion Tc! I picked it up this afternoon at 3, and put 50 miles on it already! I can't wait until past 1000 miles, then I can have some REAL fun! I love my Scion!!!!

The deal I got is seeming better and better as I read this forum. I was looking online and found a post for a tC with 6k miles for 14k. I went to the dealer that night and had the car the next day. Dealer said I called 2 hours after it was posted and in the hour it took me to get there he got 3 more calls. Car is in perfect shape, prev owner broke it in 4 me

I never liked used and abused stuff... I rather pay a bit more just have it brand new.
