Default back lights around clock

so tonight i was leaving a restaurant for my friend's birthday dinner, and my clock and all the a/c controls weren't lighting up. not cool seeing as how i haven't even had this one for 4 months yet... well about 25 minutes later as im pulling into my neighborhood, i pushed the defrost button and the flashers (not at the same time) but then the lights came on...

has anyone else had this problem or know what it could be? my guess is some kind of fuse... but then it came back on... weird!!!

Your plug may be loose. There is one plug behind the HVAC unit.

i had to have the hvac light(the lights for the clock and temp control buttons) replaced under warranty on my 07. had the car about 6 months when i started to noticed the light coming on and off. then after about a month more of that the lights stopped coming on completely.

long story short it was replaced for free under warranty. have it checked out

hope this helps
