Ok, first, I didnt know in which forum to put this, so I figured I'd just ask here ;)

I got my Tc a few weeks ago but got it out of storage only today because I didnt want to put her in the snow. This evening I found out that the back lights arent working, altought they were perfectly fine when I got the car. Brake light and flashers are OK. So I check the fuse, and it's blown...change it, open the lights, blows again!

The only thing I did since I got the car is remove the center console and the radio because the AUX wasnt working...I found out the AUX cable was disconnected, and after I put everything back in place...I didn't touch anything else. I dont really see how it could have affected the back light wiring?!?

Soooo...I don't really know what to do next?! Any ideas?

 

You have a short. Pop the HU back out and check for touching wires. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the wires for the tail lights run from the driverside console, behind the head unit behind the glove box then to the back.

 

Problem solved!
It was indeed a short...my boyfriend found the problem for me! The previous owner definitly had an aftermarket HU and put the OEM HU when selling the car, and it seems like he left some wires uncovered.
