The paint doesn't quite match so i'm going to sand it down and repaint it with a differnet mix of paint.

i took the "tc" one off, and want to take the scion one off the front and back, who do i do it?

I wish it was easy to match the FM - I'd like to have a color-keyed rear logo, but I'm not going to take it off and end up with it not matching.

 

Here's how you do it.

Sand, Bondo, sand, primer, sand, paint, and clearcoat.

I used the Bondo made for fiberglass because I hade some leftover from repairing my jetski.

And If you mess it up. You can buy that part prepainted from toyota for about $120

bondo+glass = dynoglass

You can sometimes get away with one big blob of dyno glass, then sanding and filling.
however if using just mud, apply in layers, letting each one set and dry..
I saw a couple of those trunk pieces go on Ebay for 20bux.

 

i will do the black out emblem this weekend looks cool! but why do we need bondo? cant we just sand and primer
