Here's how you do it.
Sand, Bondo, sand, primer, sand, paint, and clearcoat.
I used the Bondo made for fiberglass because I hade some leftover from repairing my jetski.
And If you mess it up. You can buy that part prepainted from toyota for about $120

bondo+glass = dynoglass
You can sometimes get away with one big blob of dyno glass, then sanding and filling.
however if using just mud, apply in layers, letting each one set and dry..
I saw a couple of those trunk pieces go on Ebay for 20bux.
