how were the condition of your bearings and pistons etc etc?? how come ur doing a tear down? did something fail?

 

Nope, nothing in the engine failed. Everything looked amazing. Bearings were in perfect shape! Matt can vouch for everything.

 

If Obama gives me a decent tax return, then the next project may be a turbo kit on mine. if bryan's car is done by then that is...

 

We always have room to build another car. My car can be put on hold for a weekend to turbo your car. Tax returns FTW

 

engine does look very good and as for u mr colbalt bryan is right we can have it installed and tuned in a day with no problems by then bryans car should be done and if not the frame that is in the other bay will be done so there will be plenty of room dont forget levi's car is coming in the shop in about a month bryan we will have work to do on his....

do you think you can make the dezod pipes work with the ttv2.1 manifold ? I did not know u had a v2.1 manifold. Thats the reason im gettin those ic pipes from ya, so that I have some that fit nice. wonder how much work it will take.

 

Wont work without heavy modification. That is why I just made my whole hit.

 

figured it would not but I think the cold side pipping should be good if I make my own intake to the turbo with 07 maf, the hot side I can use the piece that goes into the bay and I think thats were the custom fab will have to be made.

 

If your making your own ____, just weld the maf sensor after the BOV, and stick a filter on the end of the turbo and call it a day. Blow through FTW

 

how hard was it to take out the engine?

 

The power steering pump sucks *****.

Hey everyone.

Next week I'll be placing a quite large order with toyota. All my extra stuff i need for my swap and all my new gaskets/fun stuff. Hopefully within the coming weeks I can get all my fuel lines squared away and my pistons and rods. Then Matt and I can really get to work.
