Betcha can't buy just one!
Well 2 months ago I sold my almost 350 RWHP caprice Video Here and bought a 2005 BOP XB 5 spd. I love my xb, and I had a great experience at the dealership. Well 2 months go by and my fiance decides she wants to get rid of the 2002 Jeep Liberty we bought just last summer. Her thoughts are that she does not want a "mommy car" yet since we are a few years away from having any kids.
Prior to the Jeep she was driving a 1999 Monte Carlo, she misses having a sporty 2 door car.
We headed back out to our dealer and took a look at the Solara, which was nice, but at 24K it was a bit of a stretch of the wallet. I suggested she take a look at the TC. She took it for a spin and was instantly in love. She had always just passed up 4 cyl cars as being slow, but the 4 cyl in the TC feels peppier than many 6's out there.
This was back at the end of february. The issue was that she wanted a black one with side airbags. It took 2 full weeks to locate one, so a truck went out to ohio and came back with our car!
Saturday I signed all the papers, and went back home....in the Jeep!
Turns out that somewhere between ohio and me picking it up saturday the rear bumper had a pretty sizeable scratch on the corner of it. The dealer is going to have the bumper repainted, so hopefully we will be able to pick it up tomorrow or wednesday.
I looked at buying the TC myself, but it just did not have enough headroom for me to drive it every day. Now I get the best of both worlds, the space of the XB and the TC for when I want something sportier!

although i'm not a huge fan of the xb or the xa when i first saw it when i went to the dealership to check out the tC i snooped around the xb and suprisngly i sorta liked it also. i'm not so much of a fan of the boxed look, personaly i think the honda element exterior has a better look to it, but i could definitely see myself driving an xb.
llast year before i got my lisence my uncle had the idea of me getting a "scion"
only the xA and xB were out at the time... and i saw the poster of the tC...
my uncle said "no way youre getting that.. unless you wanna wait a month after u get ur lisence" lol he was soo wrong...
i took that month acually june 3- june 27 and i drove my mom's HUGE SEQUIOA
and then on the 28th. i got the first tC that arrived in ocean county, NJ...
and then my uncle felt stupid..
but oh man oh man... i want one of every scion!...
congrats on the xB tC fam... all u need is a xA!!!

6'3" but with a really long torso, my inseam is only about 31", I fit ok as long as I tilt towards the sunroof opening. I can cope with it, but I would not want it to be my daily driver. Which is a pity since I came from a car with so much power to go to a car with so little.
Noice!! congrats dude!!
I also was not into xA's or xB's until I got my tC. Now when I 'm at a Scion dealership I snoop around and peep 'em out.
I'd love to drop the 1.8L from a GT-S into an xA and turbo it...doubt that's possible without major work and $$$...but man that thing would fly...
