You could buy that car brand new for less than that!

There will be some idiot who will probably buy this car at close to that price and NOT realize they could have purchased new for cheaper. Have to do your research!!

saw the same thing here where i'm at. A white one bone stock with about the same miles for 19,500, I figure at the going rate of inflation that they seem to be using I could easily sell my car for about 26!!

More than $1000 a year inflation rate! Man I should have bought 10, then I could retire earlier than planned!

I just sold a used tC for 21,000 had 3k on it and just a few adds.

I have a xA going for 17,999 too.

Look up KBB and see what a used 2005 tC with 15K sells for. Look up the Retail, and you should find that its about 19,300 for stock.

There is a difference between "asking price" and "selling price". Sellers have to mark the cars up to make it seem like you're getting a great deal when they knock a couple of thousand off.

Imagine what it will be worth in 5 years, 10 years! This is is easier than buying real estate with no money down! I'm going to put down deposits and sell them on eBay!

Screw you Carlton Sheets!

Don't get too excited there. It is all supply and demand right now

That's true, I know that scion will never be high volume but as soon as they come out with a new car our tC is going to loose value.

I don't know what you said. But if your saying a dealer will pay you 19500 your crazy. That's what they will sell it for, you will most likely get something like 15-17K at the max.

God, no kidding. I'm half tempted to sell my tC and buy a BMW. What's up with the tC on Autotrader for $65k??? http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...n&cardist=2475

I can't believe totalled tCs with smashed front ends are going for $4k-5k. Insane.

I REALLY can't believe people are stupid enough to pay $20k+ for a used tC when they can just wait a while and get a new one for $17k.

This is new info?

Dealers will do anything to make profit... and people are rather dumb.... I've met tC owners who've paid 28 thousand dollars for their cars, just to have leather and a few basic add ons like the body kit and RS series models.... REALLY LAME...
