Seems like a good reason to sell.

Or a good reason to not treat a grocery getter like a race car...

The TC is an $18,000 alternative to the Civic. It's a great alternative and a great value. It has a torquey enough motor to get to highway speed quickly, and also gets decent gas mileage. It has a great interior and safety features. It's a VALUE. When you start bolting on parts, you end up losing that value, since you are no longer getting more car for your money. Quick example: adding a turbo/supercharger, suspension, headers, etc. to bring your performance level up you can easily spend 10k on the TC. If you take that 10k and invest it in a better car like a lexus IS or a pontiac G8, it will be faster and better than your turbo TC, will also have full warranty AND last a lot longer.. There will always be people who rice out their car, no matter what it is. I'm not one of them, but I don't mind other people doing it, so don't get too offended at this post. I'm just saying what the Tc means to me. No matter what you bolt on it, its still gonna be a Tc.

Firstly, LOL @ the G8 being faster and better than a boosted tc with coilovers and other mods. The G8 is a quick family car for a guy with a small wiener, that is all. Not to mention it handles like a boat.

The lexus IS is also not faster than said turbo tc, and won't outhandle it either.

And the warranty aspect, you don't NEED a warranty when a new motor is only 2500bucks. On the other hand, i'd definately keep the G8 stock because you know you'll be paying more for dealership fixes than the car is worth otherwise.

Plus it's not all about trying to make it into a race car... why not look at it as having the mods is trying to be unique and not like every other tc out there? Who cares if you own a G8 that looks like every other G8, or an IS350 that your grandmother lso owns? Lame.
