I have a Borla Dual Exhaust on my Echo..it's a cat back too. So there is a Borla Cat Back for the VVT-i engine. My car came with it as a dealer installed option for 800 dollars Canadian..which I figured was a good deal.

Canadatron,

Curious to how your getting 132hp out of your Echo? I know there're rated at 108 here. Do you guys have deferent spec engines than the U.S. models :?:

Thanks,
Chino

My car is the same 108HP engine as yours. But I have done a little "extra" work to the engine as well as having the CAI and the Cat Back exhaust on there. The engine was ported and polished. Prior to that I was getting 124 HP from the exhaust and the intake alone.

[i]Not true...... Thermal research has released a true catback exhaust. 60mm pipe (2-1/4) with a 90mm tip. It retails for $556. and some change, MSRP. i spoke with the rep fromThermal research and ordered 10 units this morning.
whoa!! Magnaflow's catback is like 400.00 And for 500.00 you can get a stylis manifold back system! :o Not a catback but a manifold back, from the header to the tip!

Have you changed the headers at all?

I am interested in helping the performance of the xA I'm getting, but I am not into making it sound like a bumblebee. I would like it to remain quiet...
