thats how it started for me but that is beocuse your mods are smaller now so to reset at the same point the piston moves out and there is in turn less fluid in the resivoir so when you acclerate and the fluid moves it thinks there isnt enough fluid in there

it took me a while to figure out what was up with it when i first got this issue

just because u have to add brake fluid doesnt mean the brake pads need to be replaced .

there are only maybe 3 other reasons i can see a car with 20k miles needing more fluid each of them alot more less likely then pads being worn

1. a leak in the line some where

2. a leak in the tank somewhere

3. the tank not being seald properly

for me it was pads

Like everyone else said check your fluid, check the ebake handle make sure its down all the way, look at your pads, sometimes when it does this it means you have an air pocket and need to be bleed.

this issue is happening to me. I took off my pads and see about 1/3rd left on the pads ..... so i am guessing its the fluid (but the tank is darn close to being full).

it flashes if i floor it in first. Real odd because I would have thought that there would be no pad left after taking the tires off .....

checked the lines .... no leak. ugh.

Everything is pointing to needing new pads. As the pad wears, the pistons don't retract all the way so more fluid enters the lines. When you accelerate hard, the fluid sloshes around in the tank and that's what makes the light come on.
I don't know about the rest of you, but I'd MUCH rather change my pads than worry about having a leak in my braking system somewhere.
If there was a real problem, the light will more than likely remain on.

uhh that's the brake light that does that..

as far the TMPS light which is the (.!.) light.... that's something COMPLETELY different.
that's your tire pressure being detected as low..

RTFM.
