brake slamming
what kind of problem can be caused by slamming on your brakes with a brand new tc. i did it the other day and then i had read the manual and just curious what problems that might cause.
you can glaze pads if you constantly ride the brake hard, this will heat up the brakes badly, causing them to warp...thats ok, it'll give you a reason to buy some performance pads and crossed drilled vented rotors

This is what we suggest for pad/rotor bed in/break in

EDIT: I will say that stoptech's approach to breaking in.. did work, I was easy on the brakes for 1000 miles, then began to develop a squeal.. I tried stoptech's way and no more problems.. Guess being too easy on brakes can actually be a bad thing just like too hard on the brakes too..
hehee... those stoptech guys..
one's got a e36 M3, another one's got a clean 350z.
they're manufacturing and headquarters are run out of office buildings like 3 minutes from where i live. :D
i'm considering walking in and asking them for a job. even answering phones.

It is true that you can't just use the brakes too easily. The main point of the bed in is to warm up the pads and transfer the material over to the rotor, so you may not need 10 decelerations. You may only need 6 or 7 for a stock system. The more aggressive street pads need to be driven aggressively to stay bedded in.
