braking raddle when turning
i have an 05 silver tc just about 7 days old today. i had an incident the other day when i was turning into a drive at the same time that someone was turning out. I braked pretty hard while my wheel was turning right, my car made this raddle type of vibration as i stepped on the brake. i thought something was definately wrong, possibly with the rooters or brakes or something. went to the dealer the next day to find a reason as to why my car is doing this. i spoke to richard at longo scion which is also a member of this forum and owns 2 scion xB's. he explained to me that it was the performance of the EBD (electronic break distribution) and ABS (anti-lock break system). My brakes were pulsating to prevent the brakes to lock up on you, this is suposed to be normal, in fact this is suposed to be a good thing. so those of you that have had this problem, everything is a-ok!
