Bulb wattage consumption
Well im looking for some LED/white 7440 bulbs to replace my front turn signals.
The problem im running into is that the bulbs are rated at 20 watts from the factory.
All the aftermarket bulbs are rated atleast at 40 watts. Ive seen some up to 100 watts
I know its not ok to do this so im trying to find out what everyone has used.
Im also looking for a 168/194 bulb, but i keep running into the same problem.
anyone help me?

i just used these, chrome, that flash amber. u cant see them unless there flashing.
http://autolumination.com/7443_7440.htm also have Light Emitting Diodes.
I know they make those also BUT my problem is with the wattage.
I dont want my bulbs to draw to much power and then possilby fry a wire along the way.
I understand all the wires are fused but I still dont want to risk it.

well the rating on the bulb ive seen are rated at 100watts.
The factory rating is 20 watts, Will I have a problem?
I understand the LEDs should draw less current but why do even the manufactures website say they draw 100 watts?
