Many of you have heard of the "Toys for tots" organization. They raise money and collect toys for unfortunate children at Christmas. I thought what an opportunity for the "Scionlife" community to come together as a whole. We could have a DJ, a car show, and have the first "Scionlife: Annual toys for tots fundraiser picnic". We could raise money and collect a truck full of toys. I am calling out. I need a huge response. Please sign-up. I have spoken to the USMC, I was told they will have 1 truck, 2 Humvee's and four soldiers in dress blues. I have also spoken to my good friend mike at "South florida collision", He wants to also have some bikes come out. I need all the people we can get. The USMC says they will do public relations, get the news stations and newspapers as well as give this Scion event a huge boost. I am looking for a venue large enough to handle what I am expecting as our turn-out. Probably in south Broward or north Dade. This being our first annual event, I really want it to start out with a boost. I will be contacting as many companies as possible for Raffling prizes and will be in need of a DJ. We are looking for everything, but we have plenty of time. We are planning on this event in early December. THIS WILL BE A FAMILY EVENT, so please bring the children, I am trying to get a bounce house and stuff for the kids. Please sign up ASAP. I am thinking the charge for this event will be a $10 Donation per car and A new, unopened gift per person in each vehicle. Remember, it's not the price or the size of the gift, it's the fact that you brought a gift. Imagine how many smiles we can bring as a community to the children who are not expecting a good christmas, when they wake up on christmas morning to find gifts under the tree. Help make this year a hit, and help make these unfortunate children smile on christmas day.

We already do a Scionlife Toys Event each year.... We do a great hotwheels drive and raise a significant amount of toys/cars for kids....

Get in contact with the Site Admin and he may help you with more info as well!

 

If you can get me the site admin's info, I would contact him gladly. We need all the support we can get. Also, maybe you get me the information about this other Scionlife hotwheels drive, maybe I can personally send a small contribution. We are looking to do this in south Florida, and keep these toys here for these children. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
