Yup the hood fits. Did it myself when I got my cf hood. Seats folded forward, it fits just right. The worse I've tried to move in my car was an 8 ft door I bought from home depot. With the back seats forward and the front seat back in the "recreational mode", the trunk closed without any effort. The tC has alot of room when you play a lil tetris with the seating arrangement lol.

 

I fit an integra hood in my Camry's back seats (no trunk usage at all)... so Im sure this wouldnt be an issue... plus, you have people saying it fits... PLUS measuring tape is always key

 

it fits, i drove around for about 5 days with the stock hood in the back after I got my CF hood
There is actually plenty of room for it
