Default Cancelling warrenty

I'm planning to trade my 07 in to a dealership in about 3 months, and I am wondering if I can cancel the warrenty plan I have on it. I havent used it, my car has 15k miles, and I bought the plan a year ago if any of that helps. Also, how much can I expect to be docked if I bring in the car with some aftermarket parts? Like exhaust, intake, etc. Thanks!

its WARRANTY. you shouldnt be docked anything. its just gives them the go ahead to say it has aftermarket parts to customers.

i think he bought an extended warranty in addiction to the factory warranty from when he bought the car new. it can be cancelled, and get a refund, you gotta check the fine print, call the company that you got it from. have fun.

or you can also sell it with the car if you do it private party, it might be transferable.

check the docs you signed for that warranty. you should be able to get a good chunk out of it, but again read the papers.

sell the aftermarket parts and put your stock parts back on. you'll get $0 for having aftermarket parts.

i know when i sold my Ford Danger i still had about 15k miles left on the extended warranty and we were able to transfer it to the new owner with a $35.00 transfer fee or some b.s.. im sure it varies from company to company.

I know its transferable to a private party, but since I'm trading it into a dealer it is worthless to them. Thanks for the info!
