Screening customers to buy a cut down version?

That'd make for the only exclusive owners club for a car with hubcaps

fixed all glass roof (still extremely top heavy), and a few other things different like steelies instead of alloys. The biggest thing is its 15k and Scion/Toyota is only given them to people they feel will build the cars vs. buying it because its cheap. They are screening customers so i hear to make sure of this. Ridiculous, retarded.
This sounds like the BS dealers were feeding customers for the 05 models. You need to check your research, because this can't be right. Scion is a pure-priced company, not a purchase by invite company like Ferrari.

Don't listen to this guy, I suggest you call Scion Customer Service with questions instead.
1. Thats what everyone has been saying, i haven't personally checked it out but hey, thats what i've read on other sites with apparent corporate quotes. Yes, its ridiculous but maybe you should search more because you obviously are just putting me down for something you don't even know about. If you had real facts, go right ahead. Other wise, don't quote me.
2. Honda has better performance motors than toyota does currently, i was simply putting my imput on the thought and he can take it or leave it. Am i saying that he will regret or hate driving a tc? No.
3. Valued as in how? I've grown tired of acting friendly on here and still being treated like crap, so i tell it how it is you can respect me for that or not. Does it look like i care?
4. Yes, truth i've never owned a tc and would never own one. However, i have plenty of friends with tCs and insurance has gone up on several of them. All of them? No, but most. Your insurance company is probably one of few that list it as a non sports car if thats what your saying. Because most so i hear list it as a sports car or sports compact, take your pick. Just because i've never owned a car, doesn't mean i don't know anything about it.

Never have i said i knew it all, if you have valid information to prove me wrong go for it. I'm not a hard headed person with closed minded thoughts, but if you can't do that i don't want you quoting me telling me to re-check my facts.

Though both have an awesome resale value, I'd go with the 07 because it's one year "newer." Both have the same options, IMO, though the 07 has a few other features that aren't even worth mentioning.

Yup, I've read these same facts numerous times on these forums, there's no reason to be ripping him apart.

And to answer the OP, get the 07. I'm not even sure why this is even being debated. The 07 has everything that the 06 has plus a few little things like new seat fabric, 1 hp more, a slightly higher redline. Nothing that different from the 06s. So go out and get an 07 and come join the tC club.

I doubt if you'll have a choice when you go get one, unless you consider used. But remember that the TRD supercharger will NOT, at current, work with an 07. That's probably no big deal for a lot of people, but it would be for me.

"considering i "had" sr-22 thats good!""

Yeah THansenite, I got ____ed couple of time's why my car isn't faster, why my shift is bad, why could i get killed like "4 times" because my car can't go more then 10mph in 1st gear lol etc etc... U know its hard to switch from 245hp 2.3L 4 cilinder Honda Prelude to 108hp 1.5 4cil engine LOL so with tC i will get back on trac 160hp is just enough i guess, i ll cry i swear like some ___ "no offense to anyone lol"

um.. only in the 20-24,000$ civic Si and 34,000$ S2000.

a tC is better than a civic EX, and cheaper too.

When i say currently, i meant for the past 5-10 years. And you forgot to mention the Accord v6 and just about All acuras. Yes, its a different badge but still powered by a Honda.

Who cares about a Honda? Unless you are talking about motorcycles, go over to your Honda boards and talk about how Honda r00lz. This is a SCION board. He has decided on a SCION, not a Honda. And how can you talk about stuff 5-10 years old. The Scion brand isn't even 5 years old yet. Good job sticking with Scion Joe.

Just ran a quick search about vehicle reliability ratings and guess who was on top? Toyota. Honda is definately in the top 10 list for the past 8 years, but Toyota is on top.
