Car and Driver Write up
a lot of the articles i've read all seem to say somthing similar to what caranddriver wrote.
i know the cars they were targeting in terms of ride and handling was the 3 series, A4 and IS300. those cars exhibit the perfect balance of sport and luxury, where the driver doesn't have to compromise one over the other.
great review!
Over Michigan's rough stuff, the tC demonstrated a supple and compliant ride that still felt sporty and firm. The independent suspension soaked up bumps and divots with a level of composure that's rare in the tC's stratum, never crashing and never unsettling the car. In light of its level of amusement through the curves, we can't recall a $16,000 sport hatch that offered such an excellent compromise between ride and handling.
great review!
Sounds like C&D liked it a lot. They sometimes nitpick, but their biggest complaint was the weight, and even they had to admit it didn't have a detrimental effect on the handling of the tC.
Their review makes me think I'm making an excellent decision. I was afraid I'd given into the hype, and possibly overlooked some major flaw while test driving the car (since I can't really remember any flaws) but it sounds like they like the car as much as I do.

Anways, thanks for the review link. I found some more links to pics of the indigo car for those interested:

Well, I guess the pocket rocket could be for us guys and the pocketbook mention for the women.
I don't mind the extra car weight since it was put in for structual reasons and thus extra security.....

Great article. Besides the fact that our car is "a portly lad" and needs to go on the Subway diet (lol), I think it's a great car all around.
I just got back from a Scion Dealer, looking at an automatic Indigo Ink Pearl. I have one on order (5-speed), but I had never seen the color in person. I must say that I am very impressed and am positive I made the right color choice for me. *whew!* It feels like a giant weight has been lifted, since I was worrying about not liking the color in person. I'm very happy with my decision, and can't wait to get my tC!

How long do you have to wait for the car to come in? Would love to hear your personal impressions of the car and color when you get it.
ahh i saw this article in the magazine... the magazine also show a couple bar graphs comparing the tC to other cars (civic si,mini cooper, Triburuon<--whatever that cars called by Hyundai, and some other car....).
on the chart it says the tC accelerates faster than all those cars and braking from 70-0 the tC is second best but mini cooper came first. then i forgot the rest.... i think the other charts are about the handling etc.
