Car was off for a week in the garage, Check Engine Light when I turn it on? Any tips?
Hey guys so yeah like the title says. Only reason it was there so long was because of all the snow va got recently (4ft)
Thanks!
Thanks!
yeah, sorry, we're not psychic. just go to autozone, pep boys or advanced auto parts whatever and they'll scan it for free, can't help you out until you do.
most common problem though, didn't tighten the gas cap enough.

hah thanks guys. I know you're not psychic I just wanted to see if anyone else has had the same issue. I know it's not good to keep your car off for that long I thought maybe something could have happened while it was off for that long.
Hey, love your screen name (Go Mason!)
Any updates?
My fiance just had the same thing happen. I did the gas cap thing - anyone know if you need to clear the code to make it go off, or does it go off by itself? I should probably know this.
