Default cat-back help

i got a custom catback exhaust that is extremely loud inside the cabin. it doesnt have a resonator, and i was wondering if that would reduce the sound. are there any other ways of reducing sound? i dont really care but my mom drove my car today, cause she sometimes drives it, and it bugs the ____ outta her.

A resonator will cut back the sound abit, but it won't take it all away .

ok, to help you out, I need to know what muffler was used and what size pipe was also used. Second I need to know if you have an auto or a stick. Answers these questions and I can help you get to a tolerable tone. :D

actually with a power tone muffler all you really need is the resinator back on. So yes I agree with keit on this one. Put a higher flow resinator on and you will be at a perfect tone. :D I recomend a 15inch long resinator(glasspack) with a 2 1/4inch core. Any muffler shop in your area can get one. And if they can't, PM me. :D

Shouldn't cost no more than 100.00 bucks. Thats what I would charge up here. parts, tax and labor. Hope everything turns out ok for ya.
