Changing the tC car player (Post your pics/Questions)

Th stock tC player is huge. I plan to install the thinner player not that bulky!!


Looks like 2 cd players combined!!!!!!
def. gotta go!


Can i see your pic if you all have installed a different player on the car???

Dude its not dumb its Nice.. dust anyone who hates LMAO..

Anyways... You have a gap on your dash cause ur flip screen is a single player compared to the bulky stock player right??


can u take a pic with the screen down..showing the players face..etc.?


BTW--- i got no plans.. but i want to see how everyone here did their mod.

Well i can no longer close the cover. Right now there are gaps on the side of the screen because i am still waiting for a good dash kit but it doesnt look too bad. There is a tray to fill the remaining space.

Here it is with it closed

I read a press release from Pioneer and they are going to launch a Double-DIN (like the stock unit) GPS-CD-DVD unit this spring. Check the link below for more information. Sorry, no pics yet

I might get that one, i will miss the tv tuner, nothing is greater than watching the simpsons on fox while waiting traffic. But i hate that i cant close the cover and it might get stolen :/

you can close the cover if you drill new holes in the bracket. It's really simple

how much is a typical dvd unit? i haven't kept up on this stuff for a long time. i was always under the impression that its illegal if the screen is visible to the driver when the car is in motion.
