Default Check Idle When Coasting in Neutral

Anybody with 06 Scion tC 5 Speed...

Have you ever noticed when you are driving and you coast with gear in neutral or clutch pressed down that your RPM drops to normal idle then rises to 1k rpm until the vehicle comes to a complete stop then the idel is back to normal?

The car idles fine, its just something I observed when coasting that the idle when coasting is 1,000 rpms.

good news! just checking to make sure. I suspected it is the Drive-By-Wire system. I know when you redline the RPM may shoot a little over your release point.

Happens to mine too, I wonder if a ground wiring kit would help?
